➼ CRPF Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for UPSC CRPF Assistant Commandant are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria stated by the Commission in the official notification issued. Only one candidate meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam.

To apply for the CRPF Assistant Commandant Exam, the following criteria need to be met:

  1. Nationality– The candidate should be a citizen of India, except with the consent of the Central Government. A candidate who is a subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply for the examination.
  2. Age Limit: A candidate should less than 20 years in age. And should less than 25 years of age. 5 years relaxation in age for SC / ST candidates and up to three years relaxation for OBC candidates
  3. Gender: Both men and women can apply aspirants
  4. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from any university mentioned under the state or central government act. Candidates from Deemed University can also apply for the examination.

➼ How to apply for UPSC-CRPF?

Candidates can check eligibility criteria and then apply for UPSC CRPF exam. Following the details given, the recruitment body charges a minimum fee for the recruitment process and the candidate can apply for the post:

  1. To apply for the exam go to the official site (https://www.upsc.gov.in/)
  2. Candidates may fill only one application form, and multiple forms will not be accepted.
  3. The list of examination centres is given in the official notification and candidates should carefully select the examination centre as no changes can be made after submission of the form.
  4. The last step to apply is the payment of the application fee. However, the fees vary for different people. Candidates belonging to general or OBC category will have to pay Rs 200/- for the form. SC / ST / Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
