Bank Exams

IBPS PO is an examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Service (It is an Institution which conducts exams for the recruitment of officers for the banking sectors) for the recruitment of Probationary Officer for the post of PO in Reserve bank of India and also for other public sector banks.

Below mentioned is the working culture of RBI PO in the Reserve Bank of India.

  • The PO has to verify the work done by the bank clerks.
  • All the transactions of the bank involve the role of the producer and the checker. For example, in cash transactions, if the clerk is the producer, the PO is the checker. In the case of loans, generally, he/she is the creator and the bank manager is the checker. The responsibility for the loss rests with the examiner.
  • He takes care of loan-related documents and makes the on-site visit of the borrower parties when required. A bank issues PO ATM cards, cheque books, demand drafts etc.

It is anticipated that the PO should be aware of all the latest developments in the bank. They are required to read all the circulars and know about all the decisions taken by bank management.

IBPS PO Interview Part:

The interview is one of the most important parts of the IBPS PO officer exam. It is important for you to clearly state your thoughts to the interviewers.

So focus on brightening your communication skills and body language. Some candidates are blessed with such skills.

Some require practice to become excellent communicators of their ideas. Candidates with no communication skills can contact those who have already appeared in the Civil Services Examinations, to get useful suggestions from them.

The interview portion of the Civil Services Examination is not designed to judge someone’s expertise on a subject.

However, a candidate must speak from the heart or answer all questions honestly.

There is a common misconception among the candidates that if they lie about their hobby just to get through the interview, it will never help them.

Interviewers are not just to ask questions, but to evaluate a candidate’s personality and ability to evaluate whether a ‘no’ is a ‘no’, it cannot be changed to a ‘yes’ and vice versa.
