SSC CGL 2021 Eligibility: Educational Qualification
The SSC CGL qualification requires candidates to hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject of any certified university/institution. Depending on the post at SSC CGL, the eligibility criteria will vary.

SSC CGL 2021 Age Limit Criteria:
The Staff Selection Committee (SSC) has changed the CGL age limit for a position (Tax Assistant -Group C) for 2018-19, and so on.
According to the latest news released by the SSC on August 5, 2019, the age limit for tax assistant positions has been relaxed from 20 to 18 years.
- Applicants for SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years old and must be no older than 32 years (as of August 1, 2019).
- The lower and upper ages of each position are different.
- The age of the candidate in the 10th/12th certificate will be considered.

SSC CGL Eligibility 2021: Nationality
The eligibility criteria are based on nationality and authorize only candidates to be residents of designated states. Candidates belonging to these states will be eligible to apply for SSC CGL Exam.
SSC CGL exam eligibility is based on nationality as follows.
An applicant must fulfill any one of the following conditions:
- Indian citizens.
- Citizens of Nepal.
- Bhutanese citizens.
- Tibetan refugees who settled in India before 1 January 1962.
- Indian origin, moved to Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intend to remain permanently in India.
SSC CGL 2021 Criteria: Physical Standards
Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Inspector or Inspectors, Prevention Departments must apply to other SSC CGL eligibility factors (known as physical fitness standards).
